Seana Davey Bio
Seána Davey is one of Ireland?s most accomplished harpists. She has performed for many years at various functions in Áras an Uachtaráin, Dublin Castle, RDS, the National Concert Hall, and all over Ireland for various dignitaries, both political and international. She performs nationwide.
She has toured North America, Canada, U.K and Germany with the harp.
Having studied both the harp and the piano with the Royal Irish Academy of Music, she also holds 5 All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil titles, 3 Oireachtas titles and 2 Pan Celtic international festival titles, among many others in various international harp festivals.
She tutors at workshops for harp at the Douglas-Hyde summer school Balaghadereen, the South Sligo summer school, Tubbercurry and the Keadue international harp festival.
She holds a B.A in Music and Irish from NUI Maynooth and an M.Sc in Music Technology from University of Limerick.
